Blades of the Leviathan - A FishBlade RPG

Made for the FishBlade 2023 Game Jam. Heavily-inspired by Angel's Egg.

Blades of the Leviathan is a 2 to 4 player one-shot RPG of biblical tragedy. It takes place shortly after the Biblical Flood and the players take on the roles of the survivors, living on the rooftops of the sunken capital of the Cainite Empire. Between the drowned buildings lurks the Leviathan, a great beast placed by God to devour any who survive the Flood. The players will work together to slay the great beast and win a chance at living out the rest of their years in nautical peace. However, they too may soon come to blows as they are revealed to have roles in a divine game of theatrics, one that may result in a murder or more...

The game features a simple 2d6 + tags - conditions system that will make character creation and moment-to-moment play brisk and effective. It opens with a PvE boss battle and then spins out of control into a PvP conflict. It can be played with or without a GM due to its player-facing resolution system and simple setting. 

Don't play this if you don't want to have an in-character philosophical debate with your friends. I recommend Debussy as a soundtrack.
